1978 Ford F250 Round 2 Giveaway Official Rules

Eligibility: Open to all 50 United States of America and Canada. Not open to previous winners, or members of their households. You must reside within the US/Canada at time of participation. Not open to US territories. You must be 18 years or older to participate. Participants must have a valid driver’s license. Immediate family members or those residing within the household of any Hodson Motors Employee or Owner are ineligible to participate. Entries will be granted to the name of the person who made the entry. Entries cannot be made in the name of another person. By participating in this promotion, contestants are bound by these rules and regulations. Entries must be made using your own legal name. Any winner picked using a false name will be disqualified and a new winner will be decided.

 

Promotion Period: Promotion begins on October 16th, 2026 at 12:00 AM and ends October 23rd, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM

 

Grand Prize: 1978 Ford F250 + $10,000 USD + $5,000 USD in modifications of the winner's choosing. 

 

$5000 USD In Modifications Rules: The giveaway winner will have the opportunity to make $5000 USD worth of modifications to the 1978 Ford F250 before taking ownership. That $5000 USD is intended to cover both parts and labor. Modifications will be done at the discretion and direction of the giveaway winner. Work will be performed by Hodson Motors and their affiliates. Quotes to complete the modifications will be given by Hodson Motors and are conditional upon the approval of the customer. Quotes will include pricing on parts and labor at an rate of $100/hr for each laborer involved. Work will not be commenced until approval from the giveaway winner. Hodson Motors may decline any customizations that present a danger to themselves, the vehicle or the giveaway winner. If an agreement is made between the giveaway winner and Hodson Motors, modifications may extend beyond the $5000 USD, but only if both parties come to such an agreement. If the $5000 USD threshold is past, all debts must be paid before the winner takes ownership of their vehicle. Funds from the $10,000 USD additional cash may be used to pay any further modifications, and the remaining balance would be given to the giveaway winner. Modifications should be decided by no later than December 1st, 2026. Once parts have been purchased for a certain modification, the modification process cannot be canceled unless the giveaway winner agrees to pay any labor associated with returning parts and restocking fees.

 

Canadian Participation: Residents of Canada may participate in the giveaway. However, they must pay for all shipping costs of their goods to enter. Shipping the vehicle to Canada will be at the cost of the promotional winner. Any modifications that are needed to pass Canadian importation will be done at the promotional winners expense. It is the promotional winner's responsibility to pay any and all fees associated with importing the vehicle into Canada. The included cash ($10,000 USD) will be converted to CAD at the exchange rate on 11/6/25.

 

How to Enter:

ANY COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING IS PERMITTED:

  1. Merchandise: Purchase any merchandise on Hodsonmotors.com. One (1) free entry will be granted per $5 purchased. Shipping fees and taxes do NOT count towards entries. Entries will be submitted using the email address used at checkout, case-sensitive.
  2. Digital Artwork: Purchase any digital artwork on Hodsonmotors.com. Digital artwork will automatically be emailed to the email address listed. Six (6) free entries will be granted for every digital artwork purchased. Entries will be submitted using the email address used at checkout, case-sensitive.
  3. Premium Subscription: Participants may pay for a monthly subscription through our site, Hodsonmotors.com. $10/month grants the participants 5 free entries to that month's giveaway, and $20/month grants 10 entries. All subscriptions that began or recurred during the month of October 2026 will receive entries into this sweepstakes.
  4. Mail-in Free Entries: To participate in the promotion without making a purchase, legibly fill out the following on a 4"x6" blank post card. Post cards  must be handwritten in black or blue ink. At the top of the post card, it must read "1978 Ford F250 Round 2 Giveaway" The post card must include the following information from the participant: First name, last name, address, email address, age, phone number. Participants must be eligible to enter for postcards to count towards entries. If any of this is missing, the entry will not be counted. Postcards must carry sufficient postage to be counted. Original postcards must be mailed in, no photocopies. Post cards must include return address. Send postcards to: Hodson Motors 3445 W Lake Mead Blvd Suite 100 North Las Vegas NV 89032. Address must be exactly as stated here, or else the post office may return your forms back to you. Hodson Motors is not liable for any postcards that are returned to sender. All postcards must be received by November 3rd, 2026. All postcards received after the deadline will not be counted. Limit ONE free mail in entry per household for this giveaway. Sending in a post card will grant 11 free entries towards the giveaway, which is equivalent to our average participant's number of entries and our average winner's number of entries. Multiple postcards sent in will NOT result in extra entries. Hodson Motors is not responsible for any lost entries in the mail or any entries received late. Entries will be submitted in the name the participant used on their form, spelling and case-sensitive. 

 

Deciding the Winner: On November 5th, 2026, the winner will be decided using a 3rd party random drawing service, Random.org, to ensure confidence in the promotion. The drawing will be broadcast on the Hodson Motors Youtube page, during a live stream event. The event will take place at 3:00 PM, PST. The live stream will be open 15 minutes before the event begins for participants to ask questions. The winner will be chosen and immediately notified. The winner will be notified via: first, a telephone call to the phone number they provided, second, an email to the email address provided and 3rd, a physical letter to the physical shipping address they provided. If the winner does not respond by December 6th, 2026, a new winner will be declared and the same process of notifying the winner will commence. Once the winner has acknowledges that they won the promotion, the promotion will officially be closed. 

 

Vehicle Transport and Transfer of Ownership: Hodson Motors will provide 1 free plane ticket to Las Vegas, NV, where the winner will receive their vehicle, the title, and all other paperwork. If the winner prefers, Hodson Motors will ship the vehicle at the winner's expense. The winner has 2 weeks from the completion date of their modifications to pick up their vehicle.

 

Warranty: The aforementioned vehicle has no warranty expressed or implied. The promotion winner accepts all responsibility for future maintenance or repairs. 

 

Emissions: Due to the nature of this vehicle, it may not be smog compliant in your state. This vehicle is intended to be registered as a classic vehicle. It is the winner's responsibility to ensure the vehicle passes smog in their state if it is required by their state. The vehicle does hold a diesel title. 

 

Title, Registration and Taxes: Hodson Motors is not liable to the taxes from winning the grand prize. Said fees are the responsibility of the Promotion Winner. A 1099 Form will be submitted to the Internal Revenue Service by Hodson Motors on behalf on the giveaway winner. This grand prize will have a declared value of $55,000 USD ($40,000 USD for the 1978 Ford F250, $10,000 USD for the additional cash and $5000 USD for the additional modifications). This value will be required of the giveaway winner to report as income on their 2026 tax filings with the IRS. A W-9 Form will be emailed to the winner by Hodson Motors to be filled out and returned. 

 

Liability: Hodson Motors and its owners are not liable for any harm, accident or death that may occur as a result of driving or operating this vehicle. Drivers and their passengers assume all risks that are involved in operating a vehicle or being a passenger. Promotion winners are responsible for inspecting the vehicle each time before they operate it. By participating in this sweepstakes, you acknowledge that classic vehicles require much more attention and care than modern vehicles. Aging components may lead to incident, harm or death. Classic vehicles do not meet modern safety requirements. The promotional winner assumes this risk when they operate the vehicle. Any work provided by any other shop, builder or mechanic is NOT the liability of Hodson Motors or its affiliates. 

 

Return Policy (Goods): Returns for any good purchased on the website are only valid during the giveaway promotion. Once the giveaway has closed, returns will not be accepted. Exchanges are available for unworn items.
