"First Gen" is a termed used to describe Dodge pick ups from 1989-1993, the first generation of Dodge trucks that had the option of a cummins turbo diesel. However, the 5.9 12 Valve Cummins was only available in a single cab and club cab pick up, a crew cab Cummins never existed! Dodge manufactured the Crew Cab D/W series until 1985, ending its run 4 years before the colaboration between Dodge and Cummins. A "First Gen Crew Cab" is achievable because all the parts are easily interchangeable, making it look like it rolled off the showroom floor this way!
